Transform antique silver into a timeless piece you’ll treasure
A hands‑on, joy‑filled experience in the heart of Buckinghamshire
Discover why our jewellery workshops are loved across Buckinghamshire — and why Corzo & Wood was proudly awarded Best Handmade Jewellery & Workshop Experience 2025 – Buckinghamshire (SME Southern Enterprise Awards).
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, enjoying a creative day out, or simply curious to try something new, this workshop is perfect for complete beginners and returning makers alike.
Join us for a truly memorable experience where you’ll upcycle a piece of sterling silver cutlery — either a vintage spoon or sugar tongs — into a unique ring or bangle using traditional silversmithing techniques.
Welcomed by Sarah or Violeta, you’ll settle in with a comforting tea or coffee as we introduce the tools and processes that bring these hidden heirlooms back to life. With expert guidance, you’ll shape, anneal, and refine your chosen piece — leaving with a finished item that’s not only beautiful, but rich with history and personal meaning.
Browse our Pinterest Spoon Ring Board and Pinterest Sugar Tong Board for ideas and inspiration.
Materials
Materials are not included in the course price. You’re very welcome to bring your own sterling silver spoon or sugar tongs. Unsure if it’s silver? Refer to the hallmarking guide, and the silver makers and date guide or share a photo and we’ll help you identify it.
Alternatively, you can purchase a curated antique piece from us. Prices typically range from £35–£145, depending on age, style, and rarity. If you’d like to buy from our selection, please let us know in advance so we can prepare options for you.
Included in Your Day

This is a calm, creative environment where you’ll have plenty of time to learn, experiment, and enjoy the process. Students often tell us they can’t believe what they’ve achieved — and that the experience is relaxing, therapeutic, fun, creative, enjoyable, addictive, and great value.
It’s an experience that feels grounding, uplifting, and wonderfully absorbing — and it’s even better when shared with friends or family. Whether you come as a pair or a group, you’ll laugh, learn, encourage each other, and leave with memories as meaningful as the jewellery itself.
And of course, you’ll go home with jewellery worth far more than the workshop price — a piece crafted by you, finished to a Corzo & Wood standard, and treasured because of the story behind it.
We always encourage new students to read our 5‑star Google reviews — they beautifully capture the joy, pride, and sense of achievement people feel when they leave our studio.
