Make Your Own Memorial Jewellery: Full Day Workshop

Memorial Jewellery has been around for a long time but why not make your own beautiful piece of jewellery that is truly unique to you and your family and keep your loved one close?

You will be welcomed by Sarah or Violeta at 10 am and served tea or coffee. You do not need any previous experience to attend this workshop, we will carefully guide you through every step and give you time to think about the process.

We will introduce you to the tools used and you will learn the basic techniques of preparing and handling the clay, shaping, adding texture, firing and finishing your jewellery.  As you finish each step, we will explain the next one.  Unlike other workshops, you will learn what you need to complete your design.

You will incorporate the ashes into the fine silver clay.  Once kiln fired it will leave behind a natural texture with the ashes embedded inside the silver, thus creating a beautiful and unique piece of jewellery.

We cannot predict the process or how the ash will react, so we trust to nature and the organic process to see what happens.
