As part of the registration to our mailing list and promotional emails, we collect the following information:
Your contact information including, telephone numbers and email address
This information is collected either online via our website or by completing a paper form in the shop. In both cases we ask for your consent.
What we do with the information we gather
We use your contact information to send confirmation of payment, workshop details and how to find our workshop for basic customer service. Names are used for creating class registers. We also require contact numbers to inform you in the unlikely event of a class cancellation or change of schedule. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp to deliver our newsletters and promotional emails. We gather statistics around mail opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email communications. We use Mailchimp for our email marketing. Our email marketing campaigns contain tracking facilities within the actual email. It tracks things like opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. This information is used to refine our future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant & timely content based on their activity.
