Our Workshops

Design and handcraft pieces using traditional and contemporary jewellery making techniques.

We love what we do, and we’re delighted to share our passion and knowledge by offering a range of jewellery making workshops. Our students so far have ranged from 14 to 83, we make it an experience that everyone can enjoy whether you are a novice or have had other jewellery making experience. Our workshops cover how to make jewellery using traditional and contemporary jewellery making techniques.

Corzo & Wood workshops are open to anyone aged 18 years and over (14 if accompanied by an adult). We offer step-by-step tuition in small classes of no more than 3 people and a creative, friendly, relaxed environment. You can design and make rings, bangles, earrings, pendants, cufflinks and bracelets. We also offer one-to-one tuition to explore those pieces you are inspired to create.

If you are unsure which workshop would suit you best, we’re always happy to talk through the experience you have to date and offer advice.

We do on occasion cater for larger groups. If you are interested in organising a workshop for a larger group please do contact us.

FULL DAY/HALF DAY WORKSHOPS

Full day workshops start at 10.00 am, and end at 5.00pm with working refreshment breaks and a pause for lunch.
Half day workshops start at 1pm, and end at 5.00pm with working refreshment breaks.

Led by either Violeta Corzo or Sarah Wood the workshop will guide participants through the jewellery making process from design to creation, with demonstrations and advice offered throughout the day. Techniques covered on most workshops will include saw-piercing, texturing, soldering, and polishing.

All the tools and equipment you need are provided. We suggest you bring along a sketchbook/paper and a pen (you may also like to bring an apron) on the day. Materials will be available to purchase on the day if required.

At the end of the day, you take home a unique piece of jewellery you have created!

ONE-TO-ONE

If you would like a more intensive experience or the opportunity to explore other projects or your own idea, a one to one workshop would be ideal. This can be arranged on a date to suit you.
