Make Your Own Pendant in Recycled Silver
Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where you’ll be warmly welcomed by Sarah or Violeta with tea or coffee to start the day. By the end, you’ll have handcrafted your own pendant using recycled sterling silver—a meaningful piece with a story behind it.
You’ll begin by learning to use a jeweller’s saw to cut your design, then file it into shape. You’ll anneal the metal with a blowtorch to soften it for shaping, then refine it using hammers and textures. The trickiest part—soldering—will be broken down into clear, manageable steps with full guidance. Before finalising your design, you’ll experiment with sample techniques to help you choose your favourite look.
You’ll then clean and polish your piece to perfection—an especially satisfying stage for those with an eye for detail. Silver chains can be purchased separately if you’d like to wear your pendant straight away.
